I finally decided to check my own valves instead of paying the shop a fortune. It's intimidating to see the belts and shims exposed for the first time. I still find it complicated actually. But once you understand the system it is actually very logical and rewarding to do yourself. Has anyone here tried to do your own Desmo service or do you only trust the factory mechanics?
