Finding the right Ducati 1100s generator cover

I have been dealing with Ducati USA for a month and they keep sending me the wrong parts. They keep shipping a 796 Hypermotard cover instead of what I need for my 09 1100s. The covers are very different because the 796 version has extra bolt holes and the wrong color. I know the 07 or 08 Multistrada 1100s uses the same part in a different shade. All these updated part numbers are making the process very confusing. I need to find a way to talk to Ducati Italy directly to get this sorted out. And if anyone has a spare cover sitting in their garage I would be interested in buying it.

man, getting to Italy is tough, but you can try emailing contact_us@ducati dot com directly
mention that the US part supersession is incorrect for the 1100S dual spark engine.
also, check out Ducati Omaha's online parts diagrams. they are usually way more accurate than the generic ones dealerships use

Most of the time they will refer you back to your dealer. But you can give it a shot.

Have you checked the official factory website? The non-US one. It should be there or maybe contact them directly. There is a contact form.
