I dunno how to ducking fix this! I recently picked up a used upper triple clamp and realized it was missing the small lower pins that hold the air pressure sensor. So I ordered replacements but when they arrived, I found the pin diameter was too small for the hole in the clamp. It just dropped right through. I managed to find an old broken clamp and I noticed the original pins had somehow been widened or flared out to sit securely. Are these press fit or if there’s a special tool to get them set correctly and make them stay put. Has anyone dealt with this issue and know the proper technique for installing these pins?

A good DIY fix is to carefully flare the pin yourself. Drop the pin in, then use a small ball-peen hammer and a punch to gently deform the base of the pin just enough to create that shoulder and hold it. Just go slow with tiny taps. But if you're against flaring, a temporary hack is using strong red or green Loctite to bond the base.. for this though, flaring is the correct, permanent technique.
