Which is better - Monster 1100 vs. 1200?

I've been missing my old Monster 1100 EVO. It felt like the perfect sport bike for me. The handling was nimble and the power was very usable. I'm not in the market for a new bike right now, but I know I'll get another 1100 someday to finish what I started with it. But I've also thought about getting a 1200. I've heard a lot of people say that the newer Monsters just aren't the same. I've hardly ever even seen a 1200 in person. If anyone has ridden both models, what are the key differences between the 1100 and the 1200 in terms of power and feel?

If you dig the 1100 EVO's quickness and raw vibe, the 1200 might seem a bit different, smoother, but not as raw. Still, if you can, give the 1200 a ride. See for yourself. You might find you like the new feel, or it might just make you want that 1100 even more.

I'm suspect to tell, because I love my monster 1100s. But if I were buy a monster now a day, probably it will be a 1200s, those is the perfect one.

I guess I might have to try it. I am just hesitant that I might not feel the same vibe.

If I modify the 1200 do you think I can achieve the quickness and raw vibe of the 1100?
