DTC, DQS, DWC Errors and Throttle Response Issue

I am experiencing an issue with my Ducati motorcycle. While riding, the display started flashing a DTC error, and I also noticed DQS, DWC, and DTC indicators showing errors on the side of the screen.


At the same time, I noticed a clear change in performance — when I gave throttle, the bike was not accelerating smoothly or normally as it usually does. The power delivery felt restricted or delayed. When these errors are not present, the bike runs smoothly and responds well to throttle input. However, as soon as the error appears, the performance drops noticeably.


I initially thought it might be a battery issue, so I replaced the battery a few days ago. However, the same errors are still appearing.


Can you please help me understand the cause of these errors and guide me on how to resolve this?

I'll start off with the simple thing, the battery. When it's dying and not holding proper charge it can make the electronics go crazy and show all sorts of errors. A quick test with a multimeter will tell you if it's good or not. If that's not it, then it could be an IMU problem or a fauly sensor, probably wheel speed, or tps. Check the battery first and get back to me and we'll continue figuring things out.

Don't panic, I had the same issue before. When you see DTC, DQS, and DWC errors all at once, it's usually a single faulty sensor causing a cascade effect.
The most likely culprit is a wheel speed sensor or a bad connection to it. Check the sensors and the wires on both wheels to see if there's any visible dirt, damage, or a loose connection. A lot of these systems rely on that speed data, and a hiccup there can shut down everything

Those DTC, DQS, and DWC errors usually mean the ECU and IMU aren't talking to each other correctly. This often happens if the IMU connections are loose, the IMU sensor is bad, or there's a problem with the wiring. The limited power is likely the limp mode kicking in to keep things safe. You should get it checked with Ducati diagnostics, the IMU probably needs to be recalibrated or replaced.

I agree with @mechanicboy, even if you just replaced the battery, a faulty or undercharged new one can cause these kinds of problems
The DTC, DQS, and DWC are all interconnected. They rely on a lot of the same data, especially from the wheel speed sensors and the IMU. When one of these systems throws a fault, the others will often follow, and the bike's ECU will go into a limp mode, which explains the restricted power delivery you're feeling.

If you're still under an extended plan, use it. Those electronic assists are all tied together, so when one trips, the bike feels neutered. Could be as simple as a sensor replacement, could be ECU. Don't ride it hard until you know.

I agree with @PrecisionDriver before you buy any parts, give both the front and rear wheel speed sensors and their reluctor rings a very close visual inspection.
Look for any damage to the wiring, make sure the sensor is sitting flush, and check the toothed ring for any bent teeth or debris stuck in between them. you know, it's amazing how a tiny rock or a piece of metal can completely ruin the signal
