Ducati Monster 821 EVAP canister delete

has anyone pulled the EVAP canister off their new 821 Monster yet? it’s taking up a ton of space and honestly ruins the lines of the engine
honestly, it doesn’t look too complicated, but I never did it before
if you’ve done the delete, did you use a specific plug kit for the vacuum ports, or just DIY it?

Just use a removal kit since it includes a plug that bypasses the purge valve and avoids trigering the check engine light.

There’s a kit listed for the 2021 Monster 1200, but if you dig around the site, it’s actually the same one for the 937.

Just a heads up, make sure you use the purge valve eliminator. If you don’t, the bike's definitely going to throw error codes

Either a dedicated removal kit like those from SmartMoto or Ducabike, which includes the correct gauge vacuum caps and a solenoid "dongle" to prevent a Check Engine Light (CEL), or a DIY hardware store run using high-temp vacuum caps and 1/4" rubber plugs.
If you go the DIY route without the electronic eliminator, you’ll need to keep the solenoid plugged in and tucked away to avoid dashboard errors. Also, ensure you route your tank vent lines properly to the ground so you don't end up with a vacuum lock or fuel spray on your hot engine!
