exhaust compatible with Monster 620

I found a secondhand Monster 620 at a reasonable price. Everything looks fine for me, except I find the exhaust headers more like an eyesore. I'm thinking of doing an upgrade and I'd like to ask if anyone here knows if there are other exhausts from Ducati that are compatible or would need no to little fabrication? I'm really trying to avoid cutting, welding, and all that extra work if a direct swap is even remotely possible. I'm hoping someone out here has done something similar or has knowledge on header interchangeability across different Monster models.

yep, a lot of people feel that way.
For a truly direct swap without welding, you'll likely need to stick to an aftermarket full system made for your specific 2006 Monster 620.
Trying to swap OEM headers from other Monster models is hit or miss due to subtle differences in mounting points and routing. Some older 2valve Monster headers might be close, but rarely a perfect, no fuss fit.
Check dedicated Monster forums; someone might have documented a specific cross-model swap that works!

OEM headers from other models isn't a hit and miss, it's a complete miss and there's no way to get them on without any custom work. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure if there are any aftermarket headers for the 620. I know there are Lextek Stainless Steel pipes, but they're not headers, just kind of like an extension while keeping the factory routing.

Have you considered doing a full custom exaust?

Many Monster air-cooled models have pretty similar header mounting points. The headers from the 750, 800, and 900 should fit your 620 easily, with little to no modification needed.

The headers from the S2R and S4R might also fit, but it's a good idea to double-check the frame clearances since they come from different generations. For a straightforward swap, your best bet would be the early Monster headers (M600/M750).

Additionally, aftermarket brands like Termignoni or Arrow usually offer universal fit options that can work with several models.

@DannyVill3 man, before you commit to any swap, check how the donor bike's exhaust routes around the oil cooler.
That's usually the biggest headache with cross model Ducati swaps. If the donor bike (like a newer model) has a different oil cooler shape or mounting location than your 620, the header routing will be completely different, forcing you into fabrication anyway.
remember to always get a clear photo of that section of the header before buying
