The new Monster is already feather-light because of the Panigale-derived Front Frame but the trend is still to shed every possible weight. So I noticed more Ducati Monster owners are swapping out the stock battery for a lithium-ion unit which is becoming popular to dedicated riders because every ounce counts! What other mods are you doing to reduce the weight of your Ducati Monster?

I’ve seen riders make small upgrades. They used a lighter exhaust or swapped stock wheels for aluminum or carbon fiber. This reduces the weight and makes the bike handle better.

i’ve noticed many riders on forums trying to shave off small amounts of weight. Most improvements come from easy part swaps instead of major upgrades. The good thing with Monster is that it reacts well even to minor changes. Has anyone noticed these changes with other riders?

My buddy got lighter wheels though they cost a lot and not everyone notices the difference on the street.
