Gojira is incredible if you are into atmospheric metal that has amazing technicality but isn't in your face about it.
Mammoth WVH (Wolfgang Van Halen) is recent on my radar- I don't think he gets the credit he deserves being Eddie's kid, but his musicianship is unrivaled and he plays every single instrument on his albums along with singing, arranging, writing, producing, and mixing. The songs are great, sound mix is spot-on, and he is definitely not a rinse & repeat songwriter.. it is clear that he had the world's best guitar player and one of the best drummers of all time as tutors but he truly seems to enjoy making his own music. You can play all 3 albums (new one just released) front to back, there are no bad tracks.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is still the playlist I always choose unless my kids are around. Expect all Taylor Swift songs the entire trip.

I always have Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on my 5 playlists. Depending on the mood, I can switch to 90's boy bands or Ed Sheeran's songs.
