Next-gen Monster teaser!

The next-gen Monster is being teased right now! Have you seen the latest? Word is they’re ditching the 937cc Testastretta 11° engine and going with the 890cc V-twin that’s already in the Streetfighter V2 and Panigale V2. That means we’re probably looking at more power and maybe a whole new riding feel. This is a huge shift for the Monster lineup so I’m curious what everyone thinks. I hope they don;t mess it up.

It seems they are moving the Monster onto the newer 890cc V2 platform. I've heard that Ducati has been gradually shifting several models to this engine. This is why Monster is following this path. I hope Monster won't lose its identity.

my cousin just bought a Ducati monster 2025 a couple of months ago, and regrets it when he saw that the 2026 version will have an awesome 890cc V2 engine with variable intake timing, got 110 hp, and improved torque delivery across the rev range

Monster already loose his identity... 821 and 1200 was the last real monster, with truss frame.
