No dash lights after battery swap

I recently picked up a 2006 Monster 695 that's been sitting for a couple years. Previous owner said it just needed a battery, so I dropped in a fresh one, but now I'm getting no dash lights, no fuel pump sound, and no crank when I hit the starter.

I've checked the fuses and cleaned the battery terminals. Starter relay clicks when jumped, so I know the starter works. Could this be a bad ignition switch or something with the immobilizer? I'm new to Ducati electrics, so any tips would be awesome. Thanks!

welcome to the ducati family, @mariner044 haha. I had the same issue before. The no power situation almost always points to either a bad ignition switch or a main power relay.
The immobilizer will usually let the dash light up but prevent the fuel pump from priming. Since you have no power at all, start by testing the wires coming out of your ignition switch for power, both on and off

Cool pickup on the clicking relay that narrows things down to a few things. Since the dash never lights up, I’d bet the ignition switch isn’t sending power out or a main relay upstream is dead. If you can, backfeed 12 V from the battery to where the dash fuse or relay input wire is, just to see if the dash lights up. If yes, the problem is upstream. If not, the dash or cluster wiring might be suspect.
