Waking the beast up after a decade nap

Just picked up this dusty old S4R after it had been parked under a deck since a flat tire way back in 2015. With just 11k miles, original keys, and some aftermarket bits, I just couldnt resist. After a good cleaning and a lot of wrench time, new battery, fluids, clutch fix, fresh chain/sprockets, fork seals, ECU flash, tires, and even some geometry tweaks, it's finally alive and in running condition. Still throwing a TPS code (new one's on the way), and the left fan is seized, but bottomliine, she's back. Now question is, should I splurge on a Termi exhaust, go with a QD, or cook up a home brew tailpipe setup for the stock udder? Advice pls.

Heck yeah, WELCOME BACK! For that S4R, I think it's worth going for Termi since it's got excellent performance and the sound is also okay. A custom tailpipe can make your thing one of a kind but it's kinda too much work for me. I wouldn't f with it.

There's nothing quite like seeing old bikes get a second chance, right? I'd definitely go with a Termi, it's a tried-and-true setup, sounds amazing, and holds its value pretty well if you ever decide to sell it. But I'm wondering, what kind of sound vibe are you looking for,something deep and throaty, or more loud and aggressive?

Awesome to hear you've brought your S4R back from the dead!! Everything still running smoothly? I'm curious to get more updates after all those serious labor of love!!

I think the Termi would definitely complete the package aesthetically and acoustically!! Plus, it holds value well. You've earned a proper exhaust note!!

My '07 S4RS (998 motor) rocks a full Termi with carbon cans cut back to about 12" (mid seat) and it causes idjits on cells to immediately investigate the awesome sound......
