Hi this is my first post as I only past my test 2 weeks ago so I apologise for my lack of knowledge
I have a monster 696 2008 ( l love Doris) she has an aftermarket exhaust and I get an error LAMB how do I find the mapping code to remap this? I have bought an OBD2 LX and the cable

I don't think that combo will allow you to make any changes to the map, so you'll need to take it to a shop. The thing with exhausts is that the O2 sensor is the one giving you the code, so if you want the quick and easy route, you can install an O2 eliminator and be done with the code.

Congrats on passing your test and welcome! I had the same setup on my 2008 696 here in LA. After adding new exhaust pipes, I got the LAMB error too. That's the O2 sensor not working right because the bike's computer isn't set up for the new exhaust.

I used a TuneBoy kit to fix mine, but some people use UpMap or Rexxer. Just make sure the map fits your exhaust type. You might also need to turn off the O2 sensors in the tune to stop the error. Doris will run great once it's all set!

They are right! It is not an easy fix, you'll need Ducati specific software like JPDiag or TuneECU. if you are using a generic OBD2 tool, this will not help you since Ducati uses its own ECU protocol.
