Has anyone tried using the windscreens that were available for the 821/1200 Monster motorcycles? Are they a good choice, especially the one from Ducati? How simple or difficult is it to install?

They are a good look. It's gonna protect you from the wind hahaha as usual. But it's very easy to install. Just you're gonna need some tools to remove the screws.

I have a Puig installed, it has similar coverage and way cheaper.

Here's the video tutorial.

@HighwaySoul yeah, it's the way to go. It was designed specifically for that bike's aerodynamics, so it generally does the best job of pushing the air just over your chest and neck without creating nasty helmet buffeting, which is the main risk of cheap aftermarket screens.
If you're a taller rider, you might still get some head buffeting, but it significantly reduces the pull on your body, making 70mph feel way less tiring
