Why full exhaust is the only choice for Monster

I honestly think you have to go with a full system on Ducati Monster 937. Slip-ons are okay but if you want the real sound you need the whole thing changed out.

The V2 Testastretta engine sounds so much better when it is fully opened up. I really like the sound from MIVV and Termignoni systems because they give you that deep growly sound the Monster is known for. You truly hear what the bike can do when it has a full system.

What brands are you guys running on Monsters and how loud is too loud for riding around town?

+1 @black bear Not everyone around you loves the constant loud exhaust. For me the best setup is one that highlights the Monster’s personality but keeps everyday riding comfortable.

Comfort is very important, of course. I understand that loud is not for everyone.

yh, slip ons on the 937 are basically just a costume change. If you want that deep, rhythmic Testastretta pulse, you have to lose the cat. I’m running the Termignoni Full Racing System with the dedicated UpMap, and it’s a completely different animal. It doesn't just sound better; the throttle response in the midrange is way smoother.
