How to fix clutch slip on 696 Monster?

I have an older Ducati 696 Monster that I love modifying and riding hard but the clutch is slipping when I do quick power shifts and that really needs to stop.

I had a similar problem on a Kawasaki Vulcan before and I fixed it by putting in a Barnett carbon fiber clutch and springs, which completely got rid of the slip and the slipper function, and I liked that. My main issue with the Ducati is that the slipper function is good when slowing down but it is terrible when I downshift and then immediately open the throttle, because all I get is a screaming engine and no acceleration. I know the 696 has a wet clutch and I figure everything inside is still the stock original setup. I need to fix the slipping under power and I am fine with going to a lighter alloy basket, alloy plates, maybe carbon fiber drive plates, or heavier springs. But there are not many non-OEM options for Ducati clutches besides Barnett and Ducabike.

What specific clutch setups have other 696 riders used to get rid of power-induced clutch slip? And does anyone know if the stock basket and plates are steel or alloy without me having to open the cover first?

I've seen a post that mixing OEM steel plates with aftermarket friction plates to balance durability and bite works. Though there are other riders who prefer alloy baskets to reduce weight and noise. The stock 696 basket is steel and the plates are a mix of steel and organic friction material.
