Weird sound on acceleration

I test drofve the bike and it was all fine, but as of yesterday there's a weird sound that I can't figure out what it is. It happens on acceleration, slower ones because on hard I can't hear anything over the exhaust. It sounds like metal on metal, a rattle but it sounds like it's coming from the engine's internals. The bike runes smooth, so I'm not sure if it's something engine-related. What do you think?

It could be a loose heat shield or an exhaust part vibrating at lower speeds, just a wild guess! But anyway.. metallic rattling doesn't sound so good! Probably the engine noise during hard acceleration is also just masking that sound. Have it checked by a mechanic ASAP just to be safe!

Funny story with this. The noise went away a couple of days after that and never heard it again. Just to be on the safe side I went to a friend of a friend who had a 796 and the said the engine's running like it should. It hasn't detonated itself and I've been a happy owner ever since I got it
